Andy Roddick
Andy Roddick's form has strengthened this year, and he has been playing some of the best tennis of his career. Andy's game has developed thanks to a combination of factors that include his new coach, Larry Stefanki.
After recently suffering a left knee injury at the Shanghai Masters tournament, he returned to New York City to have his knee examined, which thankfully confirmed a mild sprain. He is expected to make a 100-percent recovery and will be back in action for the 2010 season.
Currently, however, Andy has announced his withdrawal for the 2009 Barclays ATP World Tour Finals in London, as he is not yet fully fit following his knee injury.
Andy remarked, "I am really disappointed to miss the Barclays ATP World Tour Finals. I love playing in London, and I've heard so many good things about the venue. However, I have not fully recovered from my knee injury and I won't be able to compete. One of my goals in 2010 will be to qualify for this event again."
