Question:
I have no knowledge or experience in SAP but I would like to do a SAP course. What are the recommended courses?
Answer:
SAP Education offers an extensive training curriculum comprised of over 250 courses, ranging from public scheduled classroom training to self-paced computer based training or e-Learning. Question:
I have no knowledge and experience in SAP but would like to take up SAP courses. What are the recommended courses?
Answer:
Beginners are encouraged to take up level 1 courses. There are 2 overview courses which are relevant to beginners. Please refer to the section on "Project Team Training", under SAP R/3 Courses.
Question:
How do I become an SAP Consultant?
Answer:
Business experience in the relevant area is of the utmost importance. There are various areas in which one can become an SAP Consultant, e.g. Human Resources, Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Customer Relationship Management, Exchange Infrastructure, Database administration and many more. Question:
Should I attend the Academy Training or the Standard courses?
Answer:
Academy Training are a fast tracked condensed certification program completed over a two to five week period. Our standard short courses will also enable one to have the knowledge to write the certification exam, but will be completed over a longer period of time. Your decision really depends on your time availability and what is best for you.
Question:
Do you provide job placement?
Answer:
For your information, we do not have any affiliation with employment agencies. As such, we are not able to advise you on job placement. However, as a general guide, there will be better job opportunities if you have 4 years of functional experience to do any functional module of SAP & 3 years of programming experience to do a technical module.
Question:
Can SAP apply for student pass?
Answer:
No. SAP's primary business is software development and consultancy and not an Education Institution. Thus in accordance to governmental policy, we are not able to issue student pass.

I need an invitation letter to apply for VISA.
Answer:
Please write in to education.apa@sap.com, providing full name (as in passport), passport number and passport expiry, quoting course code/date/reference number.

Does SAP provide installment scheme for course fees in India?
Answer:
There are some banks in India which offers study loans. Please refer to the individual banks for more information.
Question:
I have registered for a course, what is the probability of the course being confirmed?
Answer:
Course status is dependent on the number of students enrolled. This will be provided to all registered participants nearer to the commencement date of course.
Question:
I have sent in my enrolment form when will I receive my confirmation?
Answer:
You will receive an electronic correspondence letter from SAP Education acknowledging your enrolment within two to three business days.
Question:
What are the prerequisites for certification?
Answer:
All candidates registering for SAP Certification Test must ensure that they have at least 2 years SAP implementation experience or have attended at least 15 days of relevant training in SAP. Proof of the above must be presented upon registration. You can submit the following:
Resume stating your job experience
Recommendation letter from your company, endorsed by your project manager. The SAP Education Centre will verify the information and confirm your certification registration if you have the necessary prerequisites and work experience.
Question:
I did not manage to pass the certification. Is there a chance for re-takes?
Answer:
You can re-take your test after one month from the date of your last test, up to a maximum of 3 attempts.
Question:
My current certification is in an older release. How do I upgrade my certification?
Answer:
You can upgrade your certification through Delta training and then sit a Delta examination. You can complete Delta training in two ways:
Delta Classroom Training includiing ramp up training for new software releases
Online Knowledge Product (OKP) which is a flexible online option designed to up-skill consultants quickly in a specific solution area

When will I receive my Certification ID card?
Answer:
With effect from 1st Jan 2009, SAP will not be issuing any Certification ID cards.
Question:
Can I transfer my Certificate to another Company?
Answer:
Yes, candidates can transfer previous qualifications to their new company. Please contact SAP Education to do this. Provide details of your old and new employment and OSS ID information.
Question:
I have forgotten the password for my S User / OSS ID. Can you reset it for me?
Answer:
