SAP BusinessObjects offers various categories of partnerships. A description for each follows.

Global Alliances

SAP BusinessObjects global alliance partners are global leaders across technical, marketing, sales, and/or service capabilities – and so typically represent the standard in their industry, specialty, or vertical market. Global alliance partners are strategic partners with significant presence in multiple geographic regions. Membership within this level is by invitation only.

Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM)

The SAP BusinessObjects OEM partner program is for independent software vendors (ISVs) who integrate SAP BusinessObjects technologies with their own product offerings for commercial resale. OEM partners may add on, bundle, host, or embed SAP BusinessObjects software.

Solution Providers

The solution provider program is for partners who offer customized solutions – essentially, a combination of domain, vertical, or application expertise that includes SAP BusinessObjects technology.

Complementary Technology Partners: Now Part of the SAP Software Partner PartnerEdge Program

These partners provide complete, technically verified turnkey software solutions that extend and add value to SAP solutions. You can get information on all SAP-certified and -qualified software partner solutions in SAP EcoHub, an online marketplace that helps SAP customers select the best software solutions available, while delivering leads and sales information to participants. With the expansion of SAP EcoHub, the SAP Ecosystem and Partner Catalog was discontinued on June 30, 2009.

Volume Resellers

The volume reseller and distributor partner program is for partners that resell all or part of the SAP BusinessObjects software portfolio and derive their primary revenue from license sales.

Authorized Education

Education partners authorized by SAP BusinessObjects are the only authorized source of SAP BusinessObjects official training. These partners are the best at delivering education services that help ensure that your employees gain optimal training – and that your organization receives maximum returns from your SAP BusinessObjects software investment.
