CERTIFIED TRANSLATION VENDORS
Translation vendors are certified through the translation partner certification program of SAP Language Services (SLS). The certification program, developed by SLS Business Partner Management, offers SAP partners and customers a resource for their translation requirements resulting from implementation and application of SAP software.
Certification Criteria
Vendors certified through this program have proven their compliance with all three certification conditions:
- Long-standing relationship with SLS – Each certified vendor has established reliability through proven quality translation services for SAP Language Services.
- Adherence to SLS standards – To evaluate adherence to procedures and processes, SLS Business Partner Management has developed a strict auditing process. Only vendors with satisfactory audit results are eligible for certification.
- Satisfactory performance – Quality of SLS translation is continuously measured through project evaluations.
Scope of Certification
Certified translation vendors have received certification for the language combination they deliver to SAP. Certification is valid for 24 months. Eligibility for recertification is evaluated after that time period. For vendors with international offices, certification is country-specific. Certification applies only to translation and/or localization services delivered by the vendor to SAP.
